Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Tech Ticklers handles information in connection with techticklers.com. It describes current website practices in plain language. It is not legal advice and does not claim certification under any specific privacy regime.
Information you provide
When you use the quote wizard or contact form, you may voluntarily submit details such as name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, service interest, project description, budget, timeline, country and preferred contact method.
How form submissions are processed
Quote and contact submissions are sent to Tech Ticklers through a same-origin API on this website, then forwarded to Formspree, a third-party form processing provider, so the team can review and respond. Formspree processes submission data according to its own terms and privacy practices.
Attribution parameters
If you arrive with marketing parameters in the URL (such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term or utm_content), the site may store first-touch landing page, referrer and those parameters in browser sessionStorage for the duration of your browsing session. Those values may be included with a quote or contact submission to help understand how someone found the site. This is not used to build marketing profiles, does not involve fingerprinting and is not cross-site tracking.
Technical and server logs
Hosting and network providers may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, request time and requested URLs as part of operating and securing the website. Retention of those logs depends on the hosting environment.
Cookies, local storage and analytics
The website uses sessionStorage for optional first-touch attribution as described above. Essential cookies or similar storage may be set by the hosting platform as needed to deliver the site.
Optional analytics tools may load when they are configured for the environment and you have accepted analytics through the consent banner. Depending on configuration, this may include Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. You can reject optional analytics; essential site features continue to work. Consent preference is stored in first-party localStorage.
These tools may collect information about how the website is used — for example pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from network data, and device or browser information — and may use cookies or similar technologies. Google Analytics 4 is configured with IP anonymization where supported by the measurement setup. Microsoft Clarity may provide session recordings and heatmaps to help us understand how visitors interact with pages.
Separately, the site may use Vercel Web Analytics, which is provided by our hosting platform to measure aggregate traffic and page views. Vercel's processing of analytics data is subject to Vercel's privacy practices.
WhatsApp and other third parties
Links to WhatsApp open an external messaging service operated by Meta Platforms. Content you choose to send through WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's terms and privacy practices. Other outbound links (for example to documentation or tools) are also governed by those third parties.
Retention and use
Enquiry information is used to review project or support requests and to follow up using the contact details you provided. Retention depends on the nature of the enquiry and operational needs. Spam or abusive submissions may be discarded.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit forms, clear sessionStorage in your browser, or contact Tech Ticklers about an enquiry you previously sent. For privacy questions related to this website, email info@techticklers.com.
Updates
This policy may change as the website or providers change. The version published on this page is the current description of practices.
